We booked and checked in on the same day and we could still choose if we wanted a courtyard, or street view and on what level we wanted to be. The check-in was so fast and the staff is so friendly. They helped us with every question we had and we felt very welcome in the hotel. If I’d ever visit Paris again, I’d definitely choose Ibis Hotel. Maybe a more central one, but Gare de Lyon was so close(and more Metro stations) that this wasn’t a problem at all! One big PLUS for the hotel was the lockers for our luggage. Lockers big enough to store multiple suitcases. Perfect for when you arrive before check-in or if you leave after check-out. Near the hotel, at Cafe quai 33 you can get some great food if you want to stay close to your hotel. And for a boulangerie that’s pretty close, I’d recommend Mon Père était Boulanger. Thank you for your service and making our stay feel warm and welcome.

On our way out for lunch, we reported to the front desk that the drain in our wash basin in our room was running very slowly/almost clogged. Since the maintenance personnel already left for the day/weekend, the front office guy gave us a temporary fix. Due to water dripping after the fix, the existing waste basket was used to catch the water. Upon our return to the room, we decided to contact the FO to ask for another waste basket for our use. Instead of a waste basket, to our delight we got moved to another room suggested by the FO woman and received a free breakfast for the inconvenience this caused us. Thank you so much.

I really like the attention that the staff gives to guests. The receptionists and night porters are VERY good, friendly and they are always available to help. I had a very good experience since when I arrived until the last minute. My room was very clean, the view was great, the breakfast was very good! It has everything that I needed for my stay in Paris. The location is very good, very close to the Underground and train station, lot of restaurants nearby and very easy access to every touristic places. I would definitely go back when I visit Paris the next time.

I enjoyed the cheese and charcuterie selection at breakfast. Very good quality of all the food. The location is fantastic. I loved the garden of the breakfast area. Great access through Gare de Lyon to Disneyland, Charles de Gaulle airport, Louvre, Arche de Triophe and through Gare de Austerlitz to Chateau de Versailles, Tour Eiffel and on foot to National History Museum, Institut de Monde Arabe, Bastille. The metro stations nearby take you all around Paris quick and fast with minimum connections.

39C in Paris- so it has to be decent air con.! Staff even welcomed us with a lovely iced fruit punch gratis on arrival. Its very well located in a quiet street close to Gare de Lyon- it even had a garden! Standard ibis, but very well run, comfortable and a mammoth breakfast buffet! There's a big Carrefour round the corner if you want to knock up a picnic- and there are restaurants nearby. It was less than 5 minutes walk to the banks of the Seine.
